Our Step-by-Step Solar Installation Process

We believe in making the switch to solar as smooth and straightforward as possible. Our process is designed to ensure you get expert guidance, a personalised plan, and a hassle-free installation—all with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Step 1: Quick Call & Consultation

We’ll start with a quick chat to get a feel for your energy goals, your home or property type, and answer any questions you might have. No pressure — just a friendly conversation to see what suits you.

Step 2: On-Site Visit

Next, one of our experts will pop out to your property to take a proper look. We’ll assess your roof layout, check for shading, and measure up — all to figure out the best setup for your solar system.

Step 3: Personalised Quote

Once we’ve seen the site, we’ll send you a clear, no-obligation quote along with a system design that fits your space and needs. We’ll also walk you through any SEAI grants you’re eligible for and how to apply.

Step 4: Grant & ESP Report

We’ll help you with the grant application from start to finish. We’ll also take care of submitting your ESP (Electrical Safety Performance) report so everything’s safe, sound, and ready to go.

Step 5: Installation

Once approved, installation takes just 1–2 days, depending on the project. You’ll get a full quote and timeline during your on-site consultation. From first visit to final build (including grants), the process usually takes 3–4 weeks.

Step 6: Ongoing Support

We don’t just disappear after install. We’re here for any follow-up questions or maintenance you need — making sure your system runs smoothly for years to come.

Extremely happy with Rjc renewables.
Roy and his company use the most up to date technology and panels unlike some companies I have searched into.
There prices are also very reasonable and the workmanship is top notch.

Craig was excellent from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. He answered all of my questions honestly and made the whole process of choosing solar panels straightforward and easy to understand. His communication was great throughout, and he genuinely seemed to care about finding the best solution rather than just making a sale. I’d highly recommend Craig to anyone considering solar panels.
